Hi all

here are the edited highlights from last night's meeting:

  • Reading match - too many stories, you had to be there!  Selected photos on the website, ex-players coming out of our ears, lol.
  • Celebrity visit - following the Reading trip, the club are in discussions with George Parris to attend a meeting and talk to members/visitors/friends.  Format, venue, cost etc all to be confirmed but will keep you posted.
  • Cork trip - anyone still wanting to go, contact Ronan for details on train times etc.  One spare ticket available if required.
  • New season - some members interested in first/second matches of season, but no decisions made until televised fixtures are confirmed.  Club will definitely be running a trip to final home match v Spurs next May, so start saving!
  • Finnish Hammers have been in touch to invite us to enter a team into a "Football for Fans" tournament to be played at Upton Park after the Spurs game, hosted by Frank McAvennie.  All interest welcome, but may well be a weekday, so time off work required.
  • Polo shirts - good quality shirts.  Small adjustments still needed to crest embroidery so not available for purchase yet.  Once finalised, members will be able to purchase online & get them delivered direct.
  • AGM - Monday 5th August, please make the effort to attend and to consider standing for a position on the committee to support your club.  In the absence of any alternative venues proposed, AGM will be held at Holywood Football & Social Club, 84 High Street, Holywood.

If anyone has any questions, please give me or Ronan a shout.
